It was one of those gorgeous Vero Beach winter days — the kind where the sky is impossibly blue, and the air has just enough of a breeze to make you remember why you live here. And honestly? There's no better backdrop for a wedding than Tree House Vero Beach on a day like that.

Jaina and Dan chose this little hidden gem to say their "I do's," and as their photographer, I couldn't have been more excited when they told me. If you haven't been to Tree House before, it sits on a lush 10-acre property, and it does not look like your typical wedding venue — which, from behind a camera, is everything. Towering palms, vibrant tropical greenery, expansive lawns, and that gorgeous soft Florida light filtering through the foliage. It's the kind of place that makes my job feel easy.

Jaina walked down the aisle as the afternoon light played through the trees, and I remember thinking — this is one of those moments that doesn't need anything extra. It was simple and stunning all at once. From the ceremony into cocktail hour and then dancing under the string lights, the whole day had this natural, effortless flow that made for incredible candids. When people are comfortable, and the setting is beautiful, the photos take care of themselves.

Tree House has this rare quality where it's polished enough to feel intentional but wild enough to feel alive. The covered outdoor spaces, the bohemian touches, the warm glow of the evening light fading through the palms — every corner of that property offers something worth photographing. Golden hour there is unreal, and Jaina and Dan made the most of every minute of it.

By the time the toasts wrapped up and everyone was dancing beneath the pavilion or under the trees, I had already almost filled my memory cards. There was so much joy in every direction — laughter echoing across the lawn, stolen glances, guests who didn't want the night to end. That's the kind of energy that translates beautifully into images.
