When it comes to beautiful estate venues, Bellewood Wedding Venue in Vero Beach is almost impossible to beat. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, professional, and easy to work with, but it is also where my wife and I got married. Lovely from every angle, it features lush greenery, perfectly manicured landscaping, a gazebo cocktail area, a garden ceremony space, a fire pit, and a new open-air pavilion for the most beautiful receptions.
The Staff
As a rule, I only feature venues with a kind, professional, and exciting staff. Your wedding is not just a day, it is months of work and collaboration with vendors hoping to create a flawless wedding day experience. Luckily, I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Bellewood Wedding Venue. Led by the wonderful Cathy, the Bellewood team was an absolute pleasure to work with - as a client and a photographer. A day-of coordinator is provided as well. Sophia, our coordinator was incredibly detailed, calm, and accommodating. The biggest compliment I can give is that they care. They care about their venue, their couples, and their events.
The Interior
Elegant, clean, well-maintained, and whimsical, the interior of the Bellewood Wedding Venue is nothing short of stunning. There is not a single bad angle, and with clean white walls and bright rooms, the rooms will certainly make you and your loved ones "pop" in the photos. Originally the owner's family home, there are plenty of beautiful rooms, a bridal suite, a full kitchen, a living room, a dining area, and a gorgeously decorated den. We chose to get ready at Bellewood, but couples also have the option to rent the building the night before and after their wedding, making the actual wedding day even easier.

The Exterior and the Grounds
The exterior and grounds of Bellewood are classic, whimsical, and dreamy. They feel like The Notebook was brought to Vero Beach. This venue is seriously beautiful. You enter via a long driveway, flanked by a massive manicured front lawn and beautiful tall hedges, leading you to a stunning white manor. Gorgeous oak trees, hedges, and flowers are scattered amongst the lovely house, gazebo, decking, pool, and pavilion. There are countless nooks for beautiful photo opportunities and each one has several stunning angles.
The ceremony space is an intimate garden area with a vine-covered pergola at the end of the aisle and tall bushes encompassing the whole area. It feels cohesive with the rest of the venue but just separate enough to make the setting feel special.
Cocktail hour takes place between the ceremony space and the house on a lovely raised deck. Partially covered by a massive oak tree, the space is bright, clean, and elegant.
A beautiful open-air pavilion was built in 2022 to house the reception of your dreams. Tall, wide, and spacious, this pavilion can easily hold 150+ people. Tables, chairs, and lovely decorations are included as well!
There are several activities for guests including lawn games and a firepit for the cozier nights. The property has bathrooms inside the house for the couple and bridal party, while guests can use the permanent structure bathrooms next to the pavilion. Both are clean, maintained, and convenient. There is also plenty of parking in the very back!

The experience we had at Bellewood Wedding Venue in Vero Beach can be summed up in one word: Perfect. I don't like to use that word around lightly, but I seriously could not think of a single thing I would have changed. As a photographer, it is a dream to work with people who care in an environment that looks stunning from every angle. As a couple getting married, you can trust that the team behind one of the most important days of your life will do everything in their power to give you the best day of your life. Everything will look beautiful, as well.
